GLT Architects needed a new web site. Their old site was dated and stale. It lacked the features that would allow them to manage their own content. It took them longer to highlight the changes that they wanted made to their site for their web designers than it would have taken to just make the changes. And changes took hours as the old site didn’t use features like master templates, so some changes had to be repeated on page after page.
GLT, a recognized leader for innovation and design, needed a website that highlighted and showcased their talents – so they turned to JDB.
The new GLT Architects site, utilizing the Kentico CMS tool, accomplishes all that GLTA was hoping for:
Faithful And True, one of the leading providers of Christian-based sexual addiction counseling, required a site that reflected their companies new branding and provided users with easy navigation and access to resources. With men's, women's and couple's workshops being their main product, the site needed an easy way to find out about these workshops, and to sign up and pay for these. Using Kentico's event registration features and payment gateway, users can now easily sign up and pay for these workshops with minimal manual effort by Faithful and True staff. In addition, a robust ecommerce site was created to showcase books, CD's and other products that have been published by the company. The site even supports electronic media such as audio files, video files, podcasts, and other digital products that Faithful and True may wish to offer their customers in the future.

AbeTech provides products and solutions in the Bar Code, RFID and Wireless Infrastructure arena. While their web site was not that old or outdated, it was difficult to maintain and had lost the impact that it once had. While AbeTech's business had evolved over the years, the web site had not kept pace and was no longer meeting the business's requirements. JDB helped AbeTech design a new site and implemented it in the Kentico CMS to ensure that it was able to meet their needs today as well as in the future.
MiTRA Chemical Consulting was a startup company. They didn't have a corporate logo, their own email address or a web site. JDB helped them get their business launched with their own corporate branding and a simple and elegant web site to promote their business and service offerings and attract customers. It wasn't one of JDB's more complicated sites, but it highlighted the power of a custom design and a turn-key solution with a user-friendly Content Management Solution with a company like JDB standing behind their site.
Arise Home Health Care wanted a web site that reflected their goals and mission. Their first web site had been completed only a few years earlier, but they had quickly outgrown its simple and bland design. They wanted something that was developed with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in mind so people could easily find their site. Once they were there, it would have to be easy to navigate and find the info they wanted with call-outs to help them navigate directly to the most frequently requested information. On-line forms made it easy for people to fill out job applications or request info and the tool had to be easy to use so their staff could maintain it going forward.
Falcon National Bank, with locations in St. Cloud and Foley, had a web design that was only a few years old, but already felt dated. In addition, they wanted to bring their customers back to the site frequently to educate them about new services and features that the bank had to offer. With their old site, users were bookmarking the log in screen for the third party on-line banking service and many were never visiting the bank's home page.
Falcon enlisted JDB to redesign their site. We incorporated the on-line banking log in throughout the site and bypassed the third party log on page entirely. Now, when people want to log in to their accounts they do it from the Falcon main page and are able to keep up on new products, services and news about the bank at the same time.
Quarry Title wanted a clean and updated web site built using a Content Management Solution (CMS) to allow them full control over their site. In addition, as opposed to confusing fee schedules that forced customers to try and figure out their closing costs with complex rate tables that varied based on purchase and loan amounts, they wanted to provide a Good Faith Estimator (GFE) tool so customers could get a comprehensive and accurate list of their closing costs easily on their own.
JDB developed the site in LiveEdit(TM) and custom built the calculator to give them the user-friendly site with features that their customers had been asking for.
When MotivAction needed to build their next generation Incentive & Recognition platform, they turned to JDB Associates. A unique twist with this project is that MotivAction wanted to create a software product that would help them create applications for their clients. This system needed the configurability of a Content Management System and the robustness of an ERP package while maintaining the flexibility to be able to incorporate any client modification.
Business Central Magazine, a publication of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce, wanted to update their dated web design and move their site to a Content Management Solution (CMS) to allow staff members to keep their content fresh. They also wanted to publish each issue using an on-line interactive flip viewer.
JDB was engaged to design the site and to integrate the flip viewer. Today, Business Central Magazine can be viewed in its entirety from anyone around the world with access to the Internet. Business Central Magazine generates additional income with increased readership and the ability to sell hyperlinks from the ads to their customer's web sites.
GATR Truck Center redesigned their web site using a flexible Content Management System (CMS). JDB helped design the site and provided a flexible feed to their vehicle inventory system so inventory for the web site will automatically be synced, eliminating the need to enter vehicle info, photos, etc. JDB created a search tool to allow the user to filter inventory by new or used, brand, or model year. The inventory page allows further refinement with sorting and price range options.

JDB facilitated the new design incorporating an custom interactive header that expands and contracts as visitors hover over their various services with a modern Content Management Solution. CTS can manage their site and grow it as their business requires it. The site contains resources for customers such traveler profile maintenance via on-line forms and a member's only section for sharing of internal resources for easy access to sales brochures, webinars, slide shows and presentations.

When the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce, a 5-star accredited chamber, needed a more effective tool to reach their members and deliver information, they hired JDB build them a new web site.

Netgain, an information technology managed services, hosting and outsourcing company, hired JDB Associates to rebuild their web site. West Central Irrigation never had their own web site. Instead, they had a sub page on their primary manufacturer's web site with basic contact information. Their business cards featured their manufacturer's logo as well. JDB worked with West Central Irrigation to develop their own logo, and a brand new web site so they could get their message to customers.
Using a modern Content Management System (CMS) to enable them to manage the site with their non-technical staff, upload and highlight equipment and installations, and provide calculators and resources to their customers, they now have their own identity. Future plans include an estimation tool to come up with rough estimates of the cost of an irrigation solution based on the customer's needs, the ability to list and sell used equipment on-line, and a newsletter or blog to keep their customers informed of the latest happenings in the irrigation business.
Premier Manufacturing, Inc. was founded in 2000 as a turnkey precision contract manufacturer of medical devices, industrial components and assemblies. Their web site was dated and did not reflect their high tech and quality services. They even had an "Under Construction" note on the home page for several years as they never really finished developing the site which contained a picture of an old building and outdated email and physical address because they did not have the ability to maintain their own content.
With a very simple goal and a modest budget, JDB was able to create a clean and modern look and feel, implement their site in a content management solution so they could maintain or add content, and incorporated search engine optimization components to help customers find them. With a solid CMS tool around their site, they will be able to grow the site and add capabilities as needed in the future as well.
Well, if you are reading this, you already know about the JDB site!
