Here’s what’s been happening at JDB since the last time we touched base… a mix of hard work, fun, and a desire to set aside time to help others.

JDB sponsored the St. Thomas Entrepreneurial Society and helped fund a trip to the Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization conference in Washington DC in November. Click here to read the press release.

JDB welcomes Gene Brumm to our .NET Solutions Team. Gene comes to us with over 20 years in the IT field in which he spent some time at General Mills and a few consulting companies. Gene is an object-oriented programming expert, currently helping us assist a customer on a large .NET initiative.

Bob Wellhoefer completed his goal to become a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

JDB prepared a meal of chicken chili for the Ronald McDonald House’s “Cooks for Kids” program on October 7, and we are scheduled to prepare a meal for the organization on February 12, 2003. This is part of JDB’s on-going commitment to prepare one meal a quarter for this worthy charity.

JDB’s winter celebration has been scheduled for Saturday, February 1. The festivities will include dinner at Ichiban’s Japanese Steak House, followed by a rousing game of “Beat the Boss Trivia” at Spike’s Sports Bar for fun, prizes, and most importantly – bragging rights! Be sure and check back next issue to see if any of our employee and guest teams were able to beat their bosses and win any prizes.
