April 16, 2008 - JDB Associates, a Maple Grove, MN based systems consulting firm, announced the acquisition of Intellisoft, a St. Cloud, MN systems consulting company. Intellisoft is a division of Netgain Technology, a premier managed services (applications hosting) provider with facilities in downtown St. Cloud.JDB plans to keep the existing staff and office in place and growing the size of the St. Cloud operation to meet the growing customer demand. JDB views this acquisition as a "win" for everyone involved. The sale allows Netgain to focus on their core offerings of managed services while providing the employees and customers of Intellisoft with the focused attention and direction that they deserve. At the same time, the move allows JDB to expand on their core strength of delivering web-based applications solutions.

"Intellisoft has a great group of employees and strong relationships with their customers and the community" says Jaime Engel, President of JDB Associates, who will be splitting time between his Twin Cities clients and the St. Cloud operation. "Right now, we are focused on adding qualified resources to help deal with the backlog of work that exists today. While the consulting operations of JDB and the hosting operations at Netgain are now under separate management, the two firms plan to work closely together to provide their joint customer base with a full range of applications design, development, hosting and support services. "The partnership will allow us to offer a complete suite of offerings that will be hard for most firms to compete with" adds Engel.
